Functional Capacity Evaluations

A Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) is a series of tests that are used to identify a person’s physical skills, functional capabilities, activity endurance, and work tolerances. This test is usually a 3-to 4-hour evaluation that is performed by an occupational or physical therapist.

FCE’s are used to determine if a patient can safely perform the duties of a specific job, provide recommendations on their ability to return to work and if they may need accommodations to safely return to work.

FCE’s also give a baseline for work conditioning programs or provide more data for physicians to determine disability.

All FCE’s are performed at our Freedman Group location in Marietta located at 1950 Spectrum Cir, Unit 125, Marietta, GA 30067. Call us at (770) 541-7401 or click the button below to request your appointment.
